Saltwater Fishing? Why Not Buy The Best? Ande Fishing Rods
If you are a saltwater fishermen, you know the importance of having high-grade equipment. If your rod and reel are poorly made, those big Fish will get away every time! That's what makes Ande fishing rods so special -- they are nearly indestructible and are a tremendous value for the money.
Ande currently makes four types of fishing rods: Tournament 5000 Rods, Torment Inshore Rods, Tournament Surf Rods, and Stand Up rods. Let me briefly describe what these Ande fishing rods are all about --
First of all, the Ande Stand Up fishing rods: as their name suggests, Ande Stand Up fishing rods are designed to be used from the shore or on board their boat -- any time when you are standing, rather than sitting, to reel in the fish. These Ande fishing rods are made with a dual-layer construction that utilizes both fiberglass and graphite. As well, the Ande Stand Up Fishing Rod features a very strong tip at the end -- because the rod tip must be capable of helping to pull up your line, even if there is a large saltwater game fish on the other end!
Next: The Ande Tournament 5000. These Ande fishing rods are designed primarily for use on board a fishing vessel. Andy makes both spinning and conventional rods in the 5000 series. These Ande fishing rods feature full-length grips which use durable, yet comfortable, foam padding. These spinning models feature aluminum oxide guides which are shocked mounted -- the conventional types use a Hardloy style instead. In the thread wrapping on these Ande fishing rods have an epoxy finish for superior protection.
The Ande Tournament Surf Series are 2-piece saltwater spinning rods. These are also constructed around a graphite core and feature comfortable EVA-foam grips and cork tape butt grips. The line guides on these models of Ande fishing rods are Hardloy-style, and are mounted in stainless steel frames. If you are looking for a good surf casting rod which is also lightweight, Ande Tournament Surf Series Rods make an excellent choice!
Finally, let me mention the Ande Tournament Inshore Series. This series of Ande fishing rods is designed for bait casting as well as spinning. These rods are lightweight, and designed for medium to heavy duty fishing -- the fishing, casting, and jigging. These handy fishing rods feature graphite and stainless steel cushioned reel seats, premium cork grips, and silicon carbide ring guides. These also feature decorative line wraps which are epoxy-coated for extra protection.

I have a Tournament 5000 and absolutely love it. I don't know how I managed without it. You can't go wrong with Ande rods.
